A collection of work for our asymetrical VR project, Mend. From early blue sky sketches to blockout and breakdowns.
The process was I did early thematic sketches and paintings while gathering reference to get a vibe for the level, then the level designer would take a pass at the level, and I would come behind and refine the blockout and do quick paintovers. I'd then breakdown notable assets for he 3d artists and they'd then pass it back to me for placement in the scene.
