Space Pirate exploration with weapons
After feedback I went back to silhouettes to find out what worked best for the role leading to this boxy chonk cannon.
These are Space Pirates that chase after the main character in Kokopa's Atlas. I wanted to keep them a bit mysterious, sneaky and hard to deal with so I chose a helmeted face.
As for the weapons we'd initially thought rifles but they seemed to terrestrial so we went with a more sci-fi box cannon design to match the world better.
