Here's a development of an evil crown made from obsidian. I wanted to have it have a radiance, an attractive luminance, so it could look like it would be hard to resist whoever found it. Early sketches really were going for a wild silhouette which in the end is good because the idea of the crown is it's descended from gods so it's heavenly projection might expand from the final piece to more ornate pieces. Always good to mine old unused ideas!

The backstory for the crown includes various crow/raven-related things so including an "unkindness" of ravens that adorn the top made sense for the crown.
