A gateway arch design for Mend.
This is a pretty prominent arch that will be seen across every level in the game as it marks the end point. It has to be noticeable; and contrast with the surrounding wall color, which are typically blue, so I opted for this orange complementary color.
The game is largely based on mesoamerican culture and folklore (predominantly Mayan) so I wanted to keep a lot of their architectural tendencies intact when designing anything that resembles an arch commonly found. This same reason is also why we're going with more vibrant colored walls than the ruins people think of.
